Message of President

 

The Indore Master Printers Association (IMPA) was established in 1986 with a small group of printers for the common cause of benefiting printing and packaging industry through a common platform. 

In the beginning, we were about 25 members and today, IMPA is a strong body of 127 members. IMPA’s primary objective is to update members about latest technology through knowledge sharing by means of conducting workshops and seminars by the masters of their fields. It also aims to keep its members updated about government’s various regulations from time to time. 

The cleanest city of the country, Indore, is one of the biggest educational hubs and is among very few cities in the country to have both, Indian Institute of Management and Indian Institute of Technology based here. The education sector in Bharat continues to grow, with more and more youth pursuing higher education and contributing to the country’s economy. This has also given boost to packaging requirement.

Presence of numerous food, pharmaceutical, apparel, incense sticks, automobile, pesticide, information technology and various other industries in Indore is leading to continuous surge in packaging requirements.

Bharat is now the fifth superpower globally, and is on the track to become the fourth largest economic power surpassing Japan. With a growth rate of over 7%, Bharat’s economic progress has benefited to various industries, including that of printing and packaging. 

The booming retail business in Bharat has also had a positive impact on the packaging industry. 

Geographical location of Indore gives it extremely well connections for logistics, be it surface or air. This great potential has attracted a few big names of Indian printing and packaging industry to set up plants here.

The printing industry is on a technological path and continuously thrives with the rapidly changing world. 

In this fast-moving world, digital printing is making big waves and is in process of establishing itself. Members are well advised to look at this technology too.
